Bedminster PTO Budget Awareness Committee
The Bedminster School PTO has formed a Budget Awareness Committee to provide constructive feedback to the Bedminster Board of Education from parents of students at Bedminster School. Over the coming weeks the BOE are planning the budget for the upcoming school year and it is important that the community is actively involved and provide feedback. Please see the feedback sent by the committee to the Board of Education here.
Below are a few important dates that are coming up in relation to the school budget:
Thursday, March 6
Policy Review meeting to be held in the Faculty Lounge at the school – public session will begin at 7:30 p.m. This is a review of all the Board policies and not just the budget.
Tuesday, March 11
PTO Meeting – 7 p.m. in Room 315 – Mr. Bolandi will be attending.
Monday, March 17
Budget Workshop meeting to be held in the Cafetorium at the school – public session will begin at 7:30 p.m. Please consider attending this meeting. The Board will also set the date for the public hearing which will be sometime in April where the final budget is presented to the public.
Thursday, March 20
Regularly scheduled Board meeting to be held in the Faculty Lounge at the school – public session will begin at 7:30 p.m.
The Board has reviewed the comments that were submitted by the Budget Awareness Committee and are taking those suggestions under consideration. As you can see there is still opportunity for input. Please consider attending a meeting and look out for more information as the Budget Awareness Committee we will continue to provide updates.
